The Garden place Hotel was founded in 2014 by Bishop Mbanda Laurent who is the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, has come a long way from its beginning as a Hotel.
The Garden Place Hotel is a perfect option location for those wishing to do gorilla tracking or simply to come relax in the serenity and beauty that the Virunga Mountains of the Northern Rwanda has to offer.

The history of the Garden Place Hotel began in 2014; Bishop Mbanda Laurent shared the Development view of the Diocese and built the Garden Place Hotel to support and help in financing the Diocese it all aspects. In the spring of 2019 the existing Former Bishop’s House was demolished and completely rebuilt now serving as the Garden Coffee Shop. Constant expansions and improvements made the Garden Place Hotel lead to the Birth of the Garden Coffee Shop in 2020 and has become of the leading Coffee Shops in Musanze. The Garden Place Hotel received a two-star rating in 2019.
Thanks to a philosophy founded on sincere and cordial hospitality, exacting care for the smallest detail and high quality Hotel, the Garden Place Hotel has already reached many important milestones and received a Two Star Hotel awarded by RDB (Rwanda Development Board)
